Request.connect() and .getParameterTree() unable to timeout. Not able to kill program by Ctrl+C
When the URL is not reachable the connect function hangs. No code can interrupt it and the program can only be killed through Ubuntu's System Monitor. Same for .getParameterTree() Possible solution is a timeout argument for the Request.connect() function: ConnectionReply connect(std::string url, ConnectionOptions connection_options, unsigned int timeout_ms); Or add the timeout to the ConnectionOptions as it still empty, although I don't know what the original purpose is of that struct
